With a lifelong interest in all things wild, especially our feathered friends, I suppose that it was inevitable that I'd end up in some seedy occupation.
HARRY ASHCROFT BSc(Hons), Watchers' proprietor, has had a lifelong interest in natural history, particularly in birds and other vertebrates. When not running the shop or delivering bird food, he leads WATCHERS WILDLIFE HOLIDAYS in France or the U.K. He is also available to carry out wildlife impact surveys regarding planning applications, advise on wildlife and conservation management and to speak to clubs and societies on a variety of wildlife topics. He is actively involved in local activities with Cumbria Wildlife Trust, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, the British Trust for Ornithology and Hay Bridge Nature Reserve.
